What does Bill of Lading mean?
Bill of Lading or often written as B/L is a document created by the carrier of the goods and issued to the shipper. The bill of lading states that the goods have been received in an acceptable condition and are ready to be shipped.
What does the abbreviation POD mean in the logistics world?
POD stands for Proof of Delivery and is also used as Port of Discharge.
Proof of Delivery means that you receive a document from us stating that your cargo has arrived safely at its destination.
When using Port of Discharge, it refers to the place where your cargo was discharged. Of course you want to know where your cargo is and when it was delivered or unloaded.

What is FCL?
FCL stands for Full Container Load, or a full container load. The entire container is available to you at FCL. LCL stands for Less than Container Load. In other words, called a partial load container or groupage. If your goods do not occupy an entire container, it is often cheaper to choose LCL. The container is then shared with and filled with several other carriers.
What are Flat Rack Containers?
Flat Rack Containers are steel containers that are very suitable for heavy loads and loads that have to be loaded from the top or side.
When do you use Reefer Containers?
A reefer container is a refrigerated sea container. We use a refrigerated container for temperature-sensitive cargo.

Wat is BREAKBULK?
When goods are too big for a container or too heavy for an airplane, we use breakbulk. We specialize in shipping large machinery such as rolling stock and other large and oversized goods. A big advantage of breakbulk is that the machines or vehicles to be shipped do not have to be disassembled first. That saves a lot of time and therefore money. Read more about project cargo.
